Basic Properties
ShinEtsu KF-96 is a linear dimethylpolysiloxane silicone fluid available in 27 viscosity grades (0.65-1,000,000 cSt). Features density 0.76-0.98 g/cm³, pour point ≤-50°C, flash point ≥315°C, engineered for lubrication, insulation, and thermal management in extreme temperatures (-50°C to 250°C).
Product Description
KF-96 maintains viscosity stability across temperatures via ultra-low viscosity-temperature coefficient. Its physiological inertness enables food/medical contact applications, while chemical inertness and UL 94 HB flammability rating ensure safety in electrical systems.
